Superstition Mountains Arizona - Flat Iron Peak

In earlier days the Superstition Mountains in Arizona were a holy place of the Apache Indian. The biggest of them is the Mountain Of Superstition and east of it there is severe erosion, which plays a major role in the local legend of the mysterious gold mine of the Lost Dutchman. The name of the Superstition Mountains occurred because the legends of the Pima Indians. The Apaches believed that the hole in the mountain of superstition is the passage to the underworld, which is under the Mountain Of Superstition. Winds blowing from the hole are supposed to be the cause of severe dust storms.

The whole area is filled with ancient caves and places where ancient Indians lived, as their presence is evident on many facts. It is still not clear who were the people who inhabited these caves - whether they were Indians Salado or Hohokam. Later, Apache and Pima Indians inhabited the area. The very name of Apache is closely related to the Superstition Mountains.
"The Superstition's" are a place where time has refused to adhere to man's rules, and seems to do its own thing, at times almost in defiance of man. The Superstitions scare visitors with its desert climate, which offers high summer temperatures and lack of water resources. However, there are many climbing paths, among which the most popular is Peralta Trailhead.

If you are a sensitive, this is a place where you will experience one phenomenon after the next, and it can be devastating to the weak of heart. Best know who you are, and have a keen respect for the desert, and if you do not believe in paranormal experiences before you play here, you will after you leave. The Apaches called it the Devils playground.

Main Street Bridge Jacksonville Florida

Jacksonville in Florida is a traditionally hard-working, blue-collar city. It has a gorgeous downtown spanning the St. Johns River and two river walks.

Jacksonville's Riverwalks are among the finest and most scenic in the nation. Lining the north and south banks of the Saint Johns River, the two are connected by either water taxi or by the pedestrian walkways of the Main Street and Acosta bridges. Both Riverwalks offer changing perspectives of the city's downtown skyline, which is split in half by the river. The Northbank Riverwalk is the longest, better landscaped, and most interesting to navigate. It follows the curvature of the river southwest, all the way to the Fuller Warren Bridge (Interstate 95), from which point one can take in a complete view of the entire Jacksonville skyline, connected by bridges. The Southbank Riverwalk is shorter in length, but it also boasts Friendship Park and Friendship Fountain, one of the largest fountains of its kind in the world. Both Riverwalks pass under the Main Street Bridge on their respective sides of the river.

As you walk, cool breezes come in off the water and sometimes manatees decide to play next to the bulkhead. Seagulls fly overhead and will happily fly in for a visit if you've got a cracker.
