What an exciting time to be a professional photographer and Photoshop user! As you have most certainly heard already, Adobe has made Photoshop CS3 available to the public as a beta release. If you plan to or have already downloaded Photoshop CS3 to play with, you might be wondering how the onOne Software Photoshop plug-ins work with CS3. This week, they've made two pretty big announcements regarding our products and Photoshop CS3.
First, onOne announced a new version of Genuine Fractals 5 that will be shipping in the spring of 2007 around the same time Adobe expects to ship Photoshop CS3. Genuine Fractals 5 and Genuine Fractals Print Pro 5 will be free updates to anybody who purchases Genuine Fractals 4.1 or Genuine Fractals Print Pro 4.1 (respectively) on or after December 18, 2006. Genuine Fractals 5 will include many new features and significant speed improvements and will be a significant upgrade. You can read more about Genuine Fractals 5 in onOne's official press release. Also, be sure to check in with our onOne's blog as they'll be posting more information there over the next few weeks.
Second, onOne announced this week our plans for adding Photoshop CS3 compatibility to PhotoFrame Pro, Mask Pro, Intellihance Pro and Genuine Fractals. If you are a registered user of PhotoFrame Pro 3, Intellihance Pro 4 or Mask Pro 4, you will be eligible to download the Photoshop CS3 compatibility updates for free. For Genuine Fractals and Photoshop CS3 compatibility, you'll need to have Genuine Fractals 5, which is a free update to anybody who purchases Genuine Fractals 4.1 or Genuine Fractals Print Pro 4.1 on or after December 18, 2006.
