A Peek at What's Hot and New...

SekonicSekonic (www.sekonic.com) unveiled the L-758DR DigitalMaster; the first light meter that can be programmed to match the sensitivity of digital camera sensors or types of film for perfect exposure control. The L-758DR can compensate for variation in exposure accuracy caused by different ISO settings, light sources, measuring methods, and file formats. Up to three different exposure profiles can be stored at the same time and recalled with a quick keystroke. Distributed in the U.S. by the MAC Group.

DatacolorDatacolor (www.datacolor.com) announced ColorVision PrintFIX PRO 2.0. The upgrade offers more features to enhance the quality of tinted and black-and-white prints. With a new gray axis algorithm, advanced profile settings, and new soft-proof capabilities—for previewing custom profiles and settings before making a test print—PRO 2.0 delivers the ability to creategallery-quality prints.

TreasureKnitTreasureKnit (www.treasureknit.com) transforms your photographs into paintings with its new TKCanvas technology, which uses digital brush strokes to mimic the look and feel of a painting. The image is then printed on high-quality textured canvas using museum-quality, acid-free, pigmented archival ink. Then a UV resistant, roll-laminated film is applied to the TKCanvas using heat to provide maximum protection from the sun, scratches, and moisture. Each TKCanvas is stretched and wrapped around an interior wood frame and mounted with picture staples, allowing each image to be hung with or without a frame.
