June 10: Grand Prix Care International Du Reportage Humanitaire deadline The Grand Prix Care International Du Reportage Humanitaire award is open to professional photographers who bear testimony to major humanitarian catastrophes. June 20: Open Society Institute Distribution Grant Deadline OSI is awarding grants of between $5,000 and $30,000 to documentary photographers through its Documentary Photography Project. The grants will go to photographers who have already completed a significant body of work on social justice issues and who are working in partnership with another organization. July 1: Pierre and Alexandra Boulat Grant Deadline A new Pierre and Alexandra Boulat Grant has been established in memory of photojournalist Alexandra Boulat, who died last year, and her father, photojournalist Pierre Boulat. Sept. 5: First Book Prize Deadline The biennial Center for Documentary Studies/Honickman First Book Prize competition is open to American photographers of any age who have never published a book-length work.
