Chicago Theatre - A classic Chicago landmark

The Chicago Theatre at 175 North State Street in Chicago, IL, famous for its iconic, six story-high "C-H-I-C-A-G-O" sign and its 29-rank Wurlitzer theater pipe organ, opened its doors on October 26th, 1921 and was quickly dubbed the "Wonder Theatre of the World."
The 3,600 seat auditorium, that stands seven stories high and more than one half of a city block wide, hosts performances by world renown musicians, comedians, acrobats and theater groups. Not only is it a beautiful theater with some really ornate designs on the ceiling, ornate columns, a grand staircase and beautiful stained glass windows, but the sound quality is exceptionally balanced; no weird echos, no reflections, no mysterious buzzing. Just crisp, clean, loudness. And there isn't a 'bad seat' in the house.
Walking through the theater's doors makes one feel small but at the same time very special.
