Difference Between a Poster and an Art Print

The main difference between a poster and an art print is quality.
Posters are typically printed in large volume on less expensive paper while Art Prints are printed on a higher paper grade. This gives the latter true photographic quality. You will also notice that art prints are a bit more expensive than posters. As far as possible, we recommend purchasing Art Prints rather than Posters. The color quality will be much superior and last at least 3 times longer than normal posters (affiches).

We DO NOT recommend buying posters or art prints as is. If you are on a shoestring budget, add a few more dollars and laminate it for best bang. We personally recommend that you mount it. Mounted posters are much cheaper than framed ones and will look great on your home or office wall.

A great source for posters is http://www.art.motivational-posters.net/
They offer a lot of Inspirational Artworks.
