The World’s Biggest Panorama

Photographer Gerard Maynard and French panorama software maker Kolor have collaborated to create the world’s largest stitched panoramic photograph. Harlem-13-Gigapixels is a composite of no less than 2,045 photos taken of Harlem in New York by Maynard with the Nikon D2x DSLR and a 300mm lens. Kolor’s AutoPano Pro software was used to sticth the photos, taking one day to assemble and 46 hours to render! (found via Rob Galbraith).
